Concrete evidence added 2026-04-17 09:39 Europe/Madrid after live-code check in /Users/openclaw/BlankFX Code/blankfx/Technical/blankfx-app/src/components/PaymentLinkGenerator.tsx: current implementation already behaves closest to preserve-prior-amount on same-currency paths because the effect sets amount = receiveAmount and token changes do not clear either amount field. This means the open question is intended UX, not whether the current code path is ambiguous. Recommended default: preserve prior amount, but force quote/derived-field refresh on token-pair change. Unblock condition: Ben confirms preserve vs reset behavior. Next checkpoint: capture repro before/after evidence and attach implementation proof immediately once direction lands.
